ND18 – ZeroSept® FPM/PTFE
The high-purity and very tight ND18 fine thread cap is ideal for precise analyses when a vacuum must be drawn in the sample vial. The design combines the advantages of Viton/FPM with PTFE and ensures high purity and maximum chemical resistance.
ZeroSept® FPM/PTFE is very inert and resistant to most chemicals. The very thin PTFE diaphragm between Viton/FPM and the sample ensures that Viton/FPM does not come into direct contact with the sample and contamination by the Viton/FPM is prevented.
The closure can be used in a wide temperature range from -40 °C to 200 °C.
ZeroSept® FPM/PTFE is designed for complex analyses with ND18 fine thread bottles and is part of the high-purity ZeroSept® range. Its special structure combines the advantages of Viton with the purity of PTFE.

The ND18 – ZeroSept® FPM/PTFE closures are packed in 100 pieces in a jar.
All ZeroSept® closures are supplied in a jar. The jar is sealed with a PP screw-on lid. A clean aluminium foil is also packed between the lid and the closure so that the septa reach the customer free of environmental influences and plasticisers from the packaging, for example. The aluminium foil also stabilises the closures and prevents the septa from coming loose during transport
