Permeation measuring cell NW50-liqui in accordance with EN16523-1 for testing PPE films (protective gloves, protective suits) for the permeability of liquid and gaseous test substances of liquid collection media. The permeation measuring cell NW50-liqui is not manufactured with double walls and is used with pH and conductivity measuring instruments and their sensors.

Description Permeation measuring cell NW50liqui

Our permeation measuring cell NW50liqui is suitable in accordance with EN16523-1 (replacement for EN 374-3 and ISO 6529) for testing PPE films (protective gloves, protective suits) for the permeability of liquid or gaseous test chemicals with the liquid collection medium around water in a closed circuit. It should be noted that the NW50liqui permeation measuring cell is not double-walled, i.e. it does not have a temperature control jacket. The permeation measuring cell NW50liqui is only to be used if the laboratory is permanently air-conditioned to a temperature of 23°C.

An electronic magnetic stirrer with a stirring fish is used for rapid mixing of the liquid collection medium water. The permeation measuring cell NW50-liqui is preferably used to measure the permeation rate (PR) of such test chemicals that cause a change in pH, conductivity or redox potential. The Multi3510 IDS meter and data logger records the value detected “in situ” as a function of time and temperature. One IDS sensor (electrode) can be connected to each Multi3510 IDS meter as a detector: a) TetraCon® 925 electrode for conductivity measurement, b) SenTix® 940- electrode for measuring the pH value ,c) SENTIX® ORP-T 900- electrode for measuring the redox potential The measured values are stored in the Multi3510 IDS meter and data logger. The measurement data is then evaluated on a PC using a spreadsheet (Excel).

The NW50 permeation cell is manufactured from high quality DURAN® laboratory glass and fluoroplastic materials.

Our measuring cell NW50 consists of a total of 7 individual parts. In addition to the upper and lower parts and a quick-release fastener, the measuring cell consists of other individual parts:
