Headspace - ND18 fine thread with VMAX

Headspace vials are available in various sizes and materials to meet the requirements of different applications. Completely new on the market is the combination of the ND18 headspace vial with fine thread and the VMAX base for optimized liquid sample removal.

Headspace vials with VMAX bottom allow highly precise and reliable analysis of volatile compounds in the headspace, with subsequent possibility for complete sample removal. The VMAX bottom guarantees a complete removal of the sample.

The fine thread is gas-tight, so the fine thread bottles are also suitable for longer volatile sample storage. The wide range of closures with and without holes provides a high degree of flexibility in terms of septum use.

Fine thread bottle and VMAX for DLLME

DLLME with the bilimex® assortment VMAX vials are used as extractors for DLLME (dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction) with an extraction agent that is heavier (HD = high density) than water, thanks to the conical bottom in the bilimex® DLLME assortment. The extraction agent settles at the bottom of the conical stand and can be removed with the microliter syringe. Because of the high-precision manufacturing and the always identical bottom, the needle can automatically dip into the vial and remove the phase.
The geometry of a normal headspace vial combined with the magnetic fine thread closure make the vial compatible with many autosamplers.
